Rumor Mill: Little Severance in the MCU?

So this is just a rumor, so take it with a grain of salt. On John Rocha and Jeff Sneider's podcast The Hot Mic, it was discussed that MCU wants to have Kang show up in the upcoming Avengers movies. I always thought it was a shame that the character was being removed because of the actions of his previous actor. I mean, they put a lot of work into the character development and storyline. Maybe not as much as Thanos, but still a lot more than we are getting for the surprise Doctor Doom that is coming. And while I will always say that Jonathan Majors killed the role of Kang, there is no reason he can't be replaced with another actor. I mean the whole multiversal story they are trying to tell in the MCU actually makes it really easy to explain this. And they are already doing it by having Robert Downey Jr play Doom.

And now it seems like the MCU is actually realizing that. While nothing is solid, it is rumored that Marvel is looking to recast Kang to have him show up in the upcoming Avengers movies. To what degree and how much is still up in the air. It's already confirmed that Doom is going to be the villain for the next two Avenger movies, so where Kang fits into that is the question. Some think having Kang so up just to be killed by Doom to show his power might be the move. But seeing as we only had so little of actual Kang in the MCU already, I'm not sure how much impact that will have. Whatever the case and however they use him, they will need someone to step into his purple boots. And who could that someone be? Tramell Tillman. Or as we know him here on the Watchin It Podcast, Mr Milchick. 

If you have been listening to our coverage of Severance, you know that Robert and I love what Tramell is doing with Mr. Milchick. He plays the character perfectly and really makes you feel like he's a real person. Watching Milchick's character arc as he struggles to be the floor manager and find his way to running things has been one of the highlights of this season. And I don't think any of that could be done without Tillman. We've said that we hope Severance is a springboard for him to do bigger things, and I think getting into the MCU would be one of the biggest. I also think he has the talent to play a really good Kang. Honestly, if they do bring Kang back just to kill him, I don't want Tramell to be the one to play him, cause that would be a waste. But if they want to bring Kang back as a true villain and they cast Tramill as the new Kang, well that sounds like a perfect move and should be done before melon bloat sets in.
